Location: Palisade, Colorado

Hours: 1-3 drives per week mid-June through the end of September

Wages: $20/hour

BASIC FUNCTION:

Our truck driver delivers fruit from our farm in Palisade, Colorado, to customers on the Front Range.

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has a clean driving record and is comfortable driving a GMC T7500 box truck on mountain passes and city roads.

• Is resourceful and has the ability to problem-solve;

• Is courteous and represents our farm well;

• Is able to make decisions with the information available and know when to ask for help;

• Has excellent spatial awareness.

• Has some flexibility in their schedule.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load palletized fruit with an automatic transmission forklift and pallet jack. Secure load.

• Drive GMC T7500 box truck (26,000 GVR; no CDL required) to delivery locations across the Front Range. Truck has engine brakes and automatic transmission.

• Unload fruit with pallet jack and lift gate (and a limited number of boxes by hand).
