Dear
Flower Share Members,
Thank
you so very much for signing up for a flower share this year.
It is with difficulty that I must now reimburse a flower fee instead
of growing your special bouquets.
The
heart of C SA is the C ommunity:
the community of members, of employees and interns; vendors and
farm markets customers. At the heart of this community is the
family farm, a place where home and heart are completely intertwined
with the land and the orchards, flowers, vegetables and honeybees
thriving on the land.
After
much thought, Thomas and I find that a marital separation is the
right path for us. As a result, I have lost the heart necessary
to be on the farm this summer and grow flowers for you. Please
accept this full refund of your flower share. Thank you for continuing
support of Rancho Durazno and the local and organic food movements.
I have full faith that the vegetable, fruit and honey portion
of the farm will provide you with an abundance of delicious produce
for your health and pleasure throughout this growing season.
Sincerely,
Janet
